LTC. Lydia Thornton
I am honored and humbled to serve this chapter as President. I have a strong desire to not only get the word out about our fantastic chapter, but to share the uniqueness with our sisters’ support in the bond and our nation’s volunteers every day. As an active Duty Army Officer in a dual military marriage, my husband and I are currently stationed at Eustis, VA (Williamsburg area) and I have recently received orders for Carlisle Barracks, PA. I have two stepdaughters and an adventurous son, Jaxon. In my incredible amount of free time (yeah right) I enjoy weight training, road racing, singing, traveling, and volunteering. I cannot wait to get to know you all and share in this legacy!

I am thrilled to take on this position as Vice President. Raised by a single mother, I learned to appreciate the strength of a woman at an early age, which has always kept me passionate about Alpha Chi Omega’s core values and brand. Like Liza (founder/former President), I am an initiate of the Alpha Omega chapter at Birmingham-Southern, where I studied Psychology and Religion. I still reside in Alabama with my four dogs and work for locally elected government officials.

I am so excited to continue to be a part of this alumnae chapter of AXO! I am an initiate of the Alpha Omega chapter at Birmingham Southern College in Alabama. I currently live in Louisiana, in the Fort Polk area. I love volunteering with AXO as a chapter advisor, PCC, and facilitator for In Tune and ASTP.

Pilar Davis
I am the mother of 2 perfect little baby boys and the wife of a retired Marine. I am a college professor in journalism and media and own Pilar L. Davis Media, a web design, and marketing firm. I was born and raised in Chicago and met my husband in high school there over 25 years ago. I first learned of Alpha Chi Omega while stationed in Japan. When I returned to the States I officially began my journey of becoming an Alumna Initiate and was initiated during the 2012 Convention. I am also the website chair for the St. Louis, MO Sigma Sigma Alumnae chapter.
